Floristicko-ekologická studie sinic a řas v různých typech stojatých vod na severním Plzeňsku
ČECHUROVÁ, Markéta
The algological research was realized on 10 various water bodies in the northern Pilsen region during the year 2020. They were mainly post-mining sites or artificial ponds, where plankton samples were collected. Environmental characteristics (pH, conductivity, water transparency, temperature, amount of nutrients) were measured. Cyanobacteria and algae found in samples were identified to the possible lowest taxonomic level, also relative abundance levels were stated. The relationship between environment and the species composition was studied. A total of 77 phytoplankton species were recorded.
Fylogeneze a taxonomie vybraných druhů sinic čeledi Merismopediaceae s využitím metody single cell sequencing
POKORNÝ, Jan
Thanks to new molecular methods, which have been used for revision of many traditional cyanobacterial taxa, their real systematic positions have become clearer. Merismopediaceae is a relatively understudied group of Cyanobacteria, therefore many subordinate taxa have not been sufficiently molecularly reviewed. In this thesis standard molecular methods of the polyphasic approach were used on environmental isolates as well as cultured strains of Merismopediaceae taxa. Subsequent phylogeny analysis based on 16S rRNA gene shows the polyplyly of genera Merismopedia and Eucapsis. The thesis also includes the very first molecular evidence of the taxonomic position of the genus Microcrocis.
Pilot study on the issue of Euglenophyta in the Czech Republic
JURÁŇ, Josef
On the basis of literature review and floristic survey of almost 150 localities a revised checklist and a proposal of redlist of the Euglenophytes of the Czech republic were made. 286 taxa are reported from our state from which 5 taxa are new for Czech republic - Lepocinclis caudata, Monomorphina reeuwykiana, Phacus arnoldii, Trachelomonas bituricensis var. lotharingia, Trachelomonas volvocina var. punctata. The proposed redlist contains 9 taxa which are threatened by small number of localities or settle biotopes threatened by human impact.
Euglenophytes of the Czech Republic in view of South Bohemia and the Bohemian Forest
JURÁŇ, Josef
A list of photosynthetic euglenoids of the Czech Republic was made from works about algal flora of the Czech Republic and this list was confronted with similar works from the Slovak Republic, Poland, Romania, Ukraine and Slovenia. Following the literature about algae from South Bohemia and the Bohemian Forest a checklist of photosynthetic euglenoids from this area was compiled. Data from this list were completed by my samples from this area. There were found 2 taxons new for the Czech Republic and 3 taxons new for South Bohemia and the Bohemia Forest.
